Taking a very well-known food such as crisps as our starting point, we have designed a utensil for displaying and eating them in a gourmet restaurant. An object that changes our view of this aperitif and transforms it into haute cuisine.
A story which includes new concepts, such as texture and light, has led to the creation of MIRU, a new way of interacting with the potato that preserves this act as a true ritual. An experience that takes us to the surface of an unknown planet that makes everything around us fade into the background.
Part avant-garde gastronomy, part experimental design, MIRU is an object that makes tasting just a single potato possible through dialogue with the designed piece.
