Renovation project of the former Les Flandes infants and primary school to transform it into a new special needs school, called Les Antigues Flandes. The aim of the project is renovate the two buildings on the site and make a school for children with physical and psychological disabilities. The desire behind the project is to achieve the right to meet the needs of all these children.
Bearing in mind that the building was already equipped as a school, the aims of the project revolve around designing the interior, giving the classrooms a more functional distribution, designing furniture adapted to the use of each classroom, getting rid of architectural barriers and developing the intakes of natural light to make full use of it. Also important is the creation of a double space, with a visual effect, that links the two floors of the main building without affecting the different uses of the spaces and the renovation of the façade to give it a more modern appearance.
