This final degree project starts from the hypothesis that the table is a space loaded with meaning, capable of going far beyond its practical function. Throughout the research, it has been explored how, from historical contexts to everyday life, the table has been a central element in the construction of bonds and in the domestication of space.

Understood as a symbolic place and part of the collective imagination, it is presented as a stage where roles are negotiated, traditions are transmitted, and shared identities are shaped. The final piece materializes these reflections with a dematerialized table, represented by a suspended tablecloth, which transforms the absence of the object into symbolic presence and invites the viewer to rethink its cultural and social significance.
