The Eat Art art movement, edible art, is the starting point from which to create the Eat Art Publishing Project, which consists of bringing together all artists who have used food as a creative material. The book is divided into two sections: one containing documentation, which introduces all the artists, and another experiences section that includes concepts related to the subject-matter. This is why the book has been divided into five senses: loathing, passion, lunacy, fantasy and gluttony.
The project faces a double challenge, on the one hand its aim is to spread the word about the Eat Art art movement, and on the other, looking beyond information and the transmission of knowledge, its aim is to communicate sensory experiences.
Since it is a book about art, the information about the artist, together with the corresponding works of art, have a simple and clear format. Besides this, I should stress that each chapter plays with edible material and a range of colours to define each sense. Food such as meat, chocolate, flour, sweets and ketchup are the visual differentiators for the senses.
