COMEBAG!

COMEBAG! is a product that has emerged from the concern caused by the fact of seeing how every time we take a look around us, society is ever more immersed in technology, whether it is at work or at home. This permanent and continuous connection is, little by little, diminishing people and, in the long term, causes certain physical aches and pains.

COMEBAG! is a backpack designed as a small portable work space that, thanks to its design, aims to have an influence on the most correct body posture to prevent the two most common long-term wrist injuries.

The product measurements are 28 cm x 38 cm and it is divided into two spaces: one for storage and the other as a compartment for a computer. This way, on daily commutes on public transport, primarily on long journeys, it makes the most of the time to improve our posture as much as possible. It is mainly designed for use on trains, as this is the most widely-used public transport every day, with a minimum of 30 minutes a journey, although it can also be used on any other type of transport such as buses and planes.

To create the design, a process has been followed on the basis of a problem. The design principles were established based on the look and functionality of the backpack, which produce a result. It is a product that adapts to the traveller's situation to minimise wrist pains or disorders in the long term that could develop into a pathology: CTS and tendinitis. So, in the future, we may also minimise the effects of other aches such as neck or back ache, as the wrist is considered to be the origin of a conduit.
