“Casa Mónica” is a twentieth century modernista (Catalan art nouveau) home that was occupied by a single person for generations, then abandoned for a number of years, only to be rehabilitated and turned into a residential building just over 5 years ago.
The proposal is to change the use of "Casa Mónica" and bring joy to the world with a culinary studio creating a blend of cooking and architecture.
There is nothing better than a place able to take us to a world of feelings by means of the senses, making us more aware, teaching us and helping us evolve and grow through it.
In our day many people are committed to environmental change, and there is nothing better than a culinary space in support of common knowledge, development and interests.
“The habitat is the garment that best identifies us, at home and at work. What surrounds us speaks to our personality, our dreams, our way of understanding life. It is always better to be surrounded by natural and ecological products, for this says a great deal about our humanity.” Manel Ybargüengoitia, Interior Designer
