Arquizofrenia

ARQUIZOFRENIA is a reflection between a design teacher (Raúl Oliva) and a former student and collaborator (Amadeu Ventayol) on a minority of Barcelona architecture that displays serious impediments to constituting itself logically and relating normally in social situations. An architecture that is the product of the hallucinations of a few, disorganised and divided from the rest, that displays common symptoms.

Treatment:
Archaeology and the world of remains, where the different types of ruins and their characteristics are studied.

The visual world and the artistic representation of the ruin throughout the modern era and the symbolism that it adopts in each era until the present day.

Critique of the urban planning of Barcelona and of its specific architectural actions.

The creation of virtual images using computer tools.
