ABRIL37

Abril37 is an identity project, an eight-room boutique hotel in Ciutadella de Menorca.

This project involves the creation of a graphic system, a website, signage for the hotel rooms and hotel, window vinyls, corporate stationery and a series of free short guides covering four different topics: remote spots, beaches, Menorcan culture and popular festivals on the island. The aim of these guides is for visitors to discover the island from a different perspective.

The concept behind the project lies in eclecticism, as the hotel is an old renovated Menorcan house that fuses new construction and designer fixtures and fittings with original features.

As a result, the formal solution taken is to unite two different hugely contrasting typographies.
