I'm from the Gràcia neighbourhood of Barcelona, and from the year that nobody cares about. Even as a child, my environment was surrounded by toys with which my grandfather spoiled me: illustrated boxes with beautiful drawings, soldier's envelopes with cursive letters outlined in bright colours, and eye-catching slogans. It was here that I began to develop a visual whirlwind for colours and shapes that I have not shaken off since.

As a child I drew, I drew everything, and that brought me the occasional reprimand. As a teenager, I drew, and I asked someone what I had to learn to be like Mariscal. They told me about something called graphic design, and I finally had the tools that allowed me to articulate my drawings in the form of a visual language.

Now, as an older child, but not an adult, because adults are dumb as asses and only cause problems, I keep doing the same thing; drawing, illustrating, or thinking about drawing for books, magazines, press, fashion, objects, animation or interior design.

Visual creation is a game where the dolls are the shapes, the letters, or the stains and the game board is the paper where I love to play, to have fun to enjoy myself, and to make those around me enjoy themselves. I'm more interested in the process than the result, although the results are really cool.

I yawn at visual conventions, hackneyed resources, and gimmicky or fake graphic solutions. I need to have a direct link with what I do, and most of my work is always connected to graphic processes or printing, where decisions can't be reversed and mistakes almost always generate interesting solutions.

I imagined and it became a reality, the very cool Vostok Printing Shop in Barcelona, specialised in engraving and printing materials; which allows me to draw just for myself, my friends or, if you are very nice, you have a very cool project, or you pay me very well.

I am guilty of these things, among many others:
