Líbrica, Alex Viladrich (poster)

Líbrica

The relationship between artistic practices and books goes way beyond production, documentation or reading. Such dynamics face the abundance of hybrid formats, resonances, and multidirectional fluxes, and are laid out as a great and unstable shared territory whose temporalities are punctuated by constant mutations and pollutions. We will call librica this area of confluences, affects, agencies and sensitivities linked to the book as a sensitive device and artifact––a portable one, in close proximity to bodies and capable of connecting them, as well as passing from one to another. Librica is, too, the word that repeatedly appears in the programme that einaidea has conceived for the ArtsLibris International Seminar 2023.

Within the framework of the fourteenth edition of the ArtsLibris bookfair, Librica’s programme unfolds on 10-11 June 2023 at Sant Antoni Market, Barcelona.
