This course Risography. The success in error proposes to understand the limitations of the means of technical production as spaces of opportunity. As we get to know them, they seem to limit our creativity. But at the same time, this creativity can fly towards new graphic solutions to convert all those erratic formal resources into valid solutions for our commissions.
We elaborate around the error. As an inherent consequence of the technical process of risography, the error can become precisely the element that will give rise to the final result. This imperfection beats the force that can turn chance into beauty, turn an error into production.
We will work from the knowledge of the tool from an artistic commission. Like any design brief, our work will have to solve a communicative premise in such a way that it reaches its audience and objectives in the most consistent and coherent way possible. To do this, we must consider the different possibilities opened by the graphic medium so that, working from trial-error-error-right, we can arrive at the desired solution.
