Winning proposal of the Spanish Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism

The proposal " España vacía, España llena. Estrategias de conciliación” (Spain empty, Spain full. Strategies for work-life balance), by Anna Bach, coordinator of the Space Design mention of EINA's Design Degree, together with Eugeni Bach and Óscar Miguel Ares, is the winner of the curatorship of the 15th Spanish Architecture and Urban Planning Biennial.

The committee of experts has valued that the proposal "offers an exhibition strategy and content creation that sagaciously approaches the diverse territorial reality of the country through a double physical venue and dynamic digital archive".

The Spanish Architecture and Urban Planning Biennial, which has been held since 1991, is an initiative of the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and the Urban Agenda in collaboration with the Higher Council of the Associations of Architects of Spain (CSCAE) and the support of the ARQUIA Foundation.

The 15th Spanish Architecture and Urban Planning Biennial will offer a careful selection of the diverse panorama of Spanish architects' activity, as in previous editions, but on this occasion, referring to the 2018-2019-2020 triennium, the emphasis will be on bringing the Biennial's content closer to society.
