Eina has taken part in CONTROLUM, a collaborative project promoted by the Catalan Lighting Cluster (CICAT) aimed at enhancing knowledge and training in intelligent lighting control systems.
CONTROLUM is funded by ACCIÓ – Government of Catalonia, within the support programmes for cooperative cluster projects. The organisations and companies involved in the project are Eina, Asselum, JVV Grup, Protopixel and Vossloh-Schwabe.
For Eina, this initiative has represented an opportunity to strengthen the connection between design, technology and industry, promoting spaces for collaboration and knowledge transfer among the different stakeholders in the Catalan lighting sector. The project has also helped bring academia closer to the real challenges faced by companies, encouraging training aligned with current needs related to sustainability, digitalisation and energy efficiency.
The centre particularly highlights the value of networking with leading companies and organisations in the sector, generating synergies that foster innovation and create new opportunities for professional and creative development. This experience has also helped consolidate a culture of cooperation and interdisciplinarity, key elements in moving towards smarter and more sustainable lighting models.
