Eina reaffirms its presence at the Delta Awards 2026, the industrial design and design culture awards organised by ADI-FAD, with students, alumni and teaching staff among the finalists.
Marina Florensa is a candidate for the Delta Medals with her Final Degree Project of the Bachelor in Design, CX Table Lamp, a recognition of excellence in emerging design, in an edition that has recorded a record participation of 104 submitted projects.
CX Table Lamp explores the combination of corten steel and cotton to generate a new expression in product design, where oxidation leaves its mark on the fabric and becomes part of the visual outcome. The lamp, with a modular and sculptural character, connects the industrial and domestic spheres, highlighting transformation, imperfection and the passage of time.
Within the Delta Culture Awards, which focus on projects that contribute to the dissemination and critical reflection on design, the nomination of the editorial publication Comissió Diògenes, directed by Pol Julià, an alumnus of the Bachelor in Design, stands out. The project also involved collaboration from former Eina students such as Alex Bou and Sofia López. In this category, the projects Inspired in Barcelona: Luce and Matter Matters: Designing with the World, which included Eina’s participation, are also finalists.
As for the Delta Awards, which recognise professional projects distinguished by their innovation, quality and impact on industrial design, the teaching staff of Eina’s Bachelor in Design and its Master’s and Postgraduate programmes have received several nominations: Toni Arola, Jordi Blasi, Pablo Castillo, Dani Castro (Estudi Manel Molina), Jordi Esteve, Maurici Ginés (Artec), Jordi Pla, Oriol Roig, Dani Vila (Nahtrang).
Among Eina alumni shortlisted for the Delta Awards are: Toni Arola, Marc Fabra (Lúcid), Lara Hernansanz and Guillem Solans, Josep Lluscà, Manel Molina, Toni Pallejà (APO).
These recognitions highlight Eina’s role as a key agent in the training and projection of design professionals, with a strong impact on the contemporary landscape.
The Delta Awards 2026 exhibition will open on 22 July at the Disseny Hub Barcelona (DHUB), where all the selected entries will be on display. The awards ceremony, including the announcement of the winners, will take place on the same day.
