Vaivé is a biannual journal that does not cover tides from a scientific perspective, but from a maritime ethnological point of view. It discusses how they affect us and how we in Spain interpret them, offering an anthropological and artistic vision.
This publication places the sea in our hands and it contains a great many artistic interpretations of the subject from a number of collaborators, as well as a series of articles explaining how we experience the tides in our daily lives.
The main aim of the journal, characterised by its informal style and design very closely linked to the to and fro of water, is to bring the phenomenon of tides closer to the public.
