Urna

Urna

Urna is an application born out of a desire to challenge the growing divide between citizens and today’s democratic processes. The project invites reflection on collective participation, shared decision-making, and the need to reinvent the tools through which we express ourselves politically.

Urna advocates for a direct, horizontal and transparent form of democracy. It is a digital tool designed to empower people by giving them back a voice in matters that affect their everyday lives, beyond the occasional ritual of elections. The proposal seeks to break with passivity and disconnection, fostering a new political culture based on deliberation and active engagement. The project is built from a place of criticism, but also of hope. It is a creative response to political disaffection, intended to become a catalyst for profound change in the way we make collective decisions.

The development of Urna’s visual and conceptual identity stems from an analysis of contemporary forms of participation and culminates in a clear, accessible and coherent communication proposal aligned with the project’s values. The application enables users to assess and question the electoral proposals of political parties, form their own opinions, and vote in a fully digital, transparent and remote manner.
