Victor Cruz Soldevila - Snowtransit

Snowtransit

Snowtransit is a rescue stretcher for skiers that offers maximum safety, comfort and functionality both for the patient and for the first-aider. It is perfectly adapted to slide over any type of snow, piste or slope. It also takes into account the ergonomics, actions and body adaptation system of the two users: the first-aider/rescuer/nurse (responsible for carrying the stretcher) and the patient/skier (the one carried by the stretcher).

In the design of the Snowtransit, all the actions and movements that need to be made to carry out a rescue on the ski slopes have been studied. It has been made as consistently and simply as possible, which has led to the appearance of a number of improvements and various mechanisms that were previously non-existent in stretchers. Among the new additions are the braking system, the way of placing the patient on the stretcher, the variety of positions of the stretcher and the use of materials not used to date in this type of product.
