Security and Hygiene Signage for Bakeries

The work consists in the creation of appropriate system of signage for the Baker’s Guild, focussed exclusively on security and hygiene, in reference to the information available to companies in these areas. At the same time an adaptation of the dominant, universal signage system in the area of security is to be carried out.

On the basis of analysis done on security and hygiene within the guild itself, it was observed that the question involves numerous inspections, so that the companies implicated are careful to ensure that no irregularities take place. For this reason, and having observed that graphic design is not particularly unified all along the different supports where the norms to be fulfilled are shown, a new signage system is born as based on the subject analyzed.

Through a practical handbook that compiles and reorders all norms of support studied, we can see the new signage system, which standardizes iconographic, chromatic and compositional typologies. In this way there is a significant overall improvement in visual communication in a sector where until now there had not been a great need for such an intervention.
