¿Qué casa para ti?

¿Qué casa para ti? questions the conflicting background of the concept of house/household, as a material space, but also as a mental space, subject to the construction of identity within the collective.

I propose a 'useless' act, the result of the need to find a space that is home/home after the pandemic situation originating in the year 2020: to map an old collapsed house to 'take it with me' and preserve, in turn, its memory.

The emptiness generated by the absence of what was home/home for others will be filled, during the process of searching, with layers of meaning. As a result, the final intervention will have a covert counter-gentrifying intention.

The research carried out is materialised in a fund or archive, with the intention of preserving its documentation and being able to expand it to give continuity to the project beyond the period preserved in this first phase of the project.
