No aparcar

No aparcar is a publishing project materialised in a book whose common thread is a specific space in the home: the garage. The aim of this work is to get to know its owners, their stories, and their experiences through its use.

The garage is, for many, a blank sheet of paper, the part of the house that historically is not defined as a habitable place, an open and singular space in the house that does not have a specific cultural charge and where, in addition to storing the car and tools, it can have an infinite number of other uses.

By entering garages, we portray people and thus analyse the needs of a society that expresses itself in this space, stores precious objects, remembers moments, or hides something. It is a portrait of people and experiences that remind us of ourselves.
