This is a graphics interaction project for a refrigerator. I researched interaction resources for the project, the content and, above all, I considered what the functions of this appliance would be. Finally, the complete research was translated into a graphics proposal for an interactive system.
This refrigerator would be for middle-aged or young users, who, first and foremost, are interested in adopting new technology that will make comfortable improvements to their health. The system comprises three modules: Health, Diet and Shopping, which communicate with each other. The idea is to create a product, which, as we go about our everyday life, advises us as to what we should eat, or the exercise we should be doing, but one that we do not have to pay too much attention to and one that is not too restricting.
There are already products on the market with these characteristics, but most of the time, with anecdotal interaction, they display the temperature and very little else. My aim was to go beyond this and design a system that really does help us and which makes a comfortable yet substantial change to our lives.
