This project questions how the visual codes that accompany the products we consume can manipulate our perception of them. By creating a visual system based on the barcode, the traditional graphics found on packaging are removed to highlight the symbolic weight of design in the construction of meaning. The project takes shape as a digital platform and a series of decontextualized products, inviting users to reflect on the real and perceived value of everyday objects.
