Marona is a research project that was created with the aim of importing new design processes into the creation of graphic work. Presented in the form of a compilation, the project includes seventy pieces that show an alternative vision of the sea, proposing a new story about the process of creation.
Starting with an approach to the sea as a representative of nature, the experimentation begins with pinhole photography, altering it until a new methodology is defined for the compilation of the graphic works. During this process, Marona defines itself as a portrait of the interaction between different agencies, and allows reflection on the different elements that intervene in the moment of creation, thus linking itself to some of the contemporary currents of thought. The project emphasises the value of experience, showing the compilation process itself as part of the result.
