The proposal is to adapt existing premises and convert them into an alternative theatre linked to the Teatro Goya. The hall would have to be versatile and multifunctional to adapt to all types of events.
To achieve this mobility, and taking as a reference the idea of the free theatre when arranging the seats for the audience, I have designed a system of rows of seats consisting of polypropylene cubes in different colours according to height, that are stackable and that can hang from the ceiling to resolve the problem of storage. Each time the seats are set out, only the cubes needed for this are used and the rest stay on the ceiling. This changes the appearance of the hall depending on the theatrical piece being performed and its layout requirements. The system is a convenient solution for the three most common types of distribution: proscenium stage, thrust stage and in the round are just a few of the possibilities.
