The project shows the creation process (from research to the end product) of a piece of furniture adapted for a nursing home in Barcelona that combines music, intelligent technology and lighting for the elderly with a 1-to-3 degree of dependency. The project comprises a bibliographic summary of the lives of the group in question, an analysis of the home where the intervention was carried out and the graphic design / photography / 3D animation / industrial creation and manufacturing process of the piece. The proposal is based on meeting all the users' needs, which were obtained directly from the research. It focuses on music/lighting and problems, be they movement or cognitive, that elderly people have and that may directly affect the design of the piece. The project culminates with the piece of furniture being installed at the nursing home and the creation of a video in which the product can be tested (Behance video).
