Intervenció energètica en un habitatge unifamiliar

In the centre of Folgueroles there is an old house that combines vernacular rural architecture with elements of Catalan modernism. Over the years, the poor quality of the materials and the lack of construction knowledge have deteriorated the building, affecting its integrity and creating an unhealthy space. The intervention reorganises the space and adds a large skylight to improve energy efficiency, providing natural light and heat and facilitating natural ventilation. The decisions taken are based on a respectful reading of the building and the ethics of the designer, integrating tradition and innovation to maintain the historical identity of the house and the village.
