The project involved the creation of a multi-purpose product that converts from a scooter to a bicycle, aimed at children aged approximately 18 months to 5 years, as using it also depends on each child's abilities.
This is an educational product that helps develop movement coordination; speed and braking, which children do with their feet, and develops balance, as children need to maintain their steering and spatial awareness.
We have used materials such as wood and metal and a turning system that uses symmetry to change from one function to another. The new bicycle does not include any complex mechanism, so that all the joints, both the fixed ones and the ones operated by users, function with screws.
GO! has a graphic image that gives the product a personality and is also attractive, child-friendly and fun for children.
