Cos incorpori is a body scent creation workshop in Barcelona's Ciutat Vella district and is where the perfumer creates these scents using different essences, work that is part science, part artisan craft and part art. Here the customer cannot fail to notice the complex world of scents, their uniqueness and their essence.
It has to be somewhere that will remain in their memory forever, just like scents. A bridge has to be created between the ethereal world and the physical world, namely the space. It has to convey the modernity of contemporary science, as well as the mystery of the past, and the uncertainty of the future, as the sense of smell is timeless.
The functional needs of this space include:
- A study space in charge of the workshop's finances, where meetings are held with customers who wish to commission a scent.
- A scent-tasting creation area, where the master perfumer uses modelling materials to create these small objects.
- A scent creation area with a small basic laboratory where the perfumer creates the scents.
- A small garden, where customers can go to rest their noses.
