This project consists of two modular benches of urban furniture incorporating light which uses low-consumption LED technology. This means that each bench can be lit using 50 W of power. The light is projected on to the anodised aluminium plate from which the side of the bench is made and creates a sense of the stars, as though it were a constellation.

The material used to give the benches their shape is concrete, with a scoured and water-repellent finish to make it more pleasant to the touch. Anodised aluminium is the material used for the perforated plate. The materials chosen have been designed to achieve maximum durability and resistance to vandalism, as well as to bad weather. They also make the benches easier to clean and maintain.

Each part of the bench has a characteristic shape to achieve the widest range of uses: it may be just a bench, create scenarios for social interrelations, divide spaces, create flower boxes, mark out a route, etc. The parts have an ergonomic design which adapts to the different users and environment depending on the day and time that they are used.
