The Final Degree Project is to publish a collection of serialised infographic publications on the analysis of current affairs. The difference between this and other publications, such as newspapers where the infographic content is secondary, is that this uses infography as the backbone to the piece. The idea behind this project is to offer the public a new way of interpreting world current affairs focusing publication on the infographic language. Each serialised publication will be devoted to a different topic, so creating a succession of single-topic publications (the conflict in Syria, the Spanish property bubble and the problems with Volkswagen's diesel systems).
Infography is the cornerstone that enables us to communicate the information analysed in each publication with the principal aim of ensuring that readers understand it quickly and directly. The main visual resources are photographic treatment and a set of paper measurements that help generate large-format content which creates an eagerness to collect among readers who buy the publication.
