Workshop Identitat Sonora

Workshop Identitat Sonora with the Teatre Lliure

Identitat Sonora (Sonor Identity) is the international workshop organised by the Teatre Lliure, with the participation of Pol Julià and Amandine Kervy, students of the Bachelor of Design, together with students from The Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, Theatre Faculty (DAMU); the Institut del Teatre; the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC); the Hofmann Cooking School; and the Norwegian Theatre Academy.

This project, carried out from 10 to 16 October and directed by Serge Von Arx and Sodja Zupanc Lotker, was carried out in collaboration with Arrels Fundació. The workshop investigated identities linked to social and spatial contexts in order to create and/or dismantle the monuments of the neighbourhoods adjacent to the mountain. We also worked on the intertwined threads of sensory experience, of personal narratives in relation to urban space and, specifically, the clash between public and private space. On the other hand, questions were posed to emphasise different aspects of our societies. In short, a voice has been given to those we tend to (and try to) ignore and forget.

The final presentation of the project took place on 16 October in the framework of the Biennial of Thought 2022.
