Dr. Tatiana Afanador López will give the talk Telares, ondas y cajas: adaptaciones estéticas de la IA (Looms, waves and boxes: aesthetic adaptations of AI) on Tuesday 25 March from 15:30 to 17 h at the Eina Bosc facilities, within the framework of the 1st year course of the Bachelor of Design, Theories of Design, led by Dr. Lara García Díaz.
In this talk, Tatiana Afanador López will present the line of research on cyborg hybridisations that she has carried out since 2016. This research has focused on the design of artificial organs and the creation of methods for understanding the crossovers between bodies, minds and technologies.
Since 2017, Dr. Afanador has been part of the Cyborg Foundation community, which has allowed her to carry out an on-the-ground philosophy and participate in interdisciplinary creation spaces. She is currently interested in conducting philosophical experiments with brainwave-reading devices and in the ethical and aesthetic issues of artificial intelligence.
