Talk Weaving worlds

Oriol Fontdevila, coordinator of the Master's Degree in Exhibitions. Curatorship and Design and professor of the Bachelor of Design, participates in the talk ‘Weaving worlds’ between the artist Alejandra Mizrahi, and Renata Cervetto, on November 13 at 19h in the gallery El Sielo (Salvadors Street, 22 in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat).

Tejer mundos' will talk about the exhibition “Dechado de virtudes” by Alejandra Mizrahi, curated by Fontdevila, and the project “Red de Randas” made in collaboration with the “Randeras de El Cercado”.

Mizrahi is an artist of reference in textile experimentation, with an emphasis on giving continuity to the textile traditions of the northwestern region of Argentina, whether of pre-Hispanic heritage or established in the colonial period, which Mizrahi tensions and subjects to improbable relationships. Mizhari has been an artist with Intemperie since 2019, model of virtues is the third exhibition she has made with the project.

In order to get to know her work, the students of the Bachelor of Design of the Final Work group of the Degree in Visual Creation, held a working session with Alejandra Mizrahi on 8 November, to investigate various research processes linked to her work.
