The Batlleiroig architecture office, lecturers on the Postgraduate Diploma in Garden Art and Design, is celebrating its 40th anniversary with the publication of the book "Merging city and nature", which explains its commitment to working with nature and for nature, understanding the role of architects as transforming agents of the city and the territory.
The presentation of the publication will take place on 2 March at 7 p.m. in the Mirador Hall of the CCCB and will be given by architects Joan Busquets, professor at Harvard University, Clara Oloriz, researcher and professor at the Architectural Association and Martha Thorne, distinguished professor at the IE School of Architecture and Design, who will debate with journalist Llàtzer Moix on the role of architecture in the face of the main challenges of the climate emergency and the need to improve the planet's living conditions.
"Merging City and Nature" is a manifesto for professional action against the climate emergency, which offers solutions for people's health and well-being.
