Pep Brocal, illustrator and teacher on the EINA Postgraduate Diploma in Illustration for Children's and Teenagers' Publications, has won the prize for the Best National Work at the ACDComic Critics’ Awards for Inframundo.
Inframundo features Amalia, a woman who has hit rock bottom after a bad patch. The author sets out the story as “the metamorphosis of a caterpillar that turns into a butterfly, who leaves the mess behind to fly towards a new life. A heroic event.”
