L'ocell redemptor

ÒH!PERA (THE EXHIBITION)

EINA participates in ÒH!PERA (THE EXHIBITION) which shows the creation process and the staging of the eight micro-operas created by students from different design disciplines, performed at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in the 2021-2022 and 2022- 2023 seasons. The exhibition will take place from 10 October to 14 January at DHUB Barcelona and admission is free.

Specifically, EINA performed the work L'ocell redemptor, by the composer Fabià Santcovsky with stage direction by Marc Chornet, and the scenography and costumes developed by the students of the Bachelor of Design Maria Arias, Anna Mas, Victor Moreno, Carla Poch, Mariona Pons and Abril Solsona, tutored by Anna Alcubierre and Judit Colomer. The play was performed on 9 and 10 July 2022 at the Liceu Saló dels Miralls.

ÒH!PERA is promoted by the Gran Teatre del Liceu, Barcelona City Council's Department of Tourism and Creative Industries, Disseny Hub Barcelona and the design schools. The project aims to showcase the city's emerging talent in order to project it internationally, to encourage experimentation and learning for students through a real experience and to attract new audiences to the opera.
