EINA will be present at Model. Architecture Festival of Barcelona, which will take place from 20 to 30 April, and whose backbone is the idea of radical empathy, with various activities.
On the one hand, Irma Arribas, director of EINA, will be taking part in the Lunch and Debate on Education and Architecture on 22 April at DHUB, where she will be reflecting on the contributions to the world of design and their repercussions on pedagogical models. She will also be at the orum Drawing today's Barcelona, on 26 April, as part of the 73 Barcelonas activity, where a series of cartographic interpretations created and designed by local architects will be on display. She will also be a guest at the Palace of Un/Learning: Glitching Mies | Bernadette Krejs & Max Utech on 27 April.
On the other hand, Manuel Cirauqui, director of eina idea, will discuss the details of the programme of artistic interventions Ambushes and the process linked to the construction of EINA Bosc, whose inauguration will be a year ago this April, on Friday 21 April at 1pm to 3pm at EINA Bosc (Carrer del Bosc, 2).
Generating a debate around the series of interventions carried out to date, this seminar will examine the concept of site-specific art in depth, based on its articulation with architectures and built landscapes.
The event is part of Camp Model, a transversal and nomadic course of experimental architectures focused on radical empathy to understand that architecture contributes to produce spaces that go beyond practical functions, that have a positive impact on the communities they serve and that therefore allow for the creation of a more equitable, inclusive, just and sustainable world. In this first edition, the universities participating in the Camp Model are BAU, Escola Massana; EINA, ELISAVA, ESDi, ETSAB, IAAC and LCI.
Registration is open and can be done through this link.
