Jo Milne, artist and professor of the Degree in Design, opens the exhibition 'micro-bios' on Friday 9 June at 19.30h in the Multipurpose Hall of the Ateneu de Cervelló (C/ Santa Anna, 1).
The exhibition, which will remain open until 16 June, brings together a series of curiosities that includes some of the pieces developed during his residency at the Parc de Recerca Biomèdica de Barcelona (PRBB) and correlates them with previous works on molecular structures.
The opening of 'micro-bios' will be attended by Dr. Jaume Bertranpetit, from the Department of Medicine and Life Sciences of the UPF (MELIS-UPF) with whom the artist will talk about art and science, and about his residency at this institution. Jo Milne received an artistic research grant for creators interested in the field of biomedical sciences awarded by the Department of Medicine and Life Sciences of the UPF in collaboration with the Vila Casas Foundation.
