Jordi Esteve, former student and professor of the Design Degree, has received an iF Design Award, one of the most important and prestigious design awards in the world, with the Flat brush, designed jointly with Cosmic.
Flat, a product that redefines functionality and aesthetics in the bathroom; ultra-thin, minimalist, and with a design that adapts to any space without stealing the spotlight, but that brings all the style and practicality you need. A product that shows that even the most everyday objects can become something extraordinary.
"Receiving an iF Design Award is an immense honor and a great boost to continue believing in the value of honest and functional design. The Flat project was born from a very clear desire: to dignify an everyday and often invisible object such as the toilet brush, giving it an innovative character, subtlety, and respect for space," says Jordi Esteve.
"This recognition is also a reflection of the shared work with the Cosmic team, who fully trusted the design process. For me, this award is a celebration of detail, of formal silence, and of how good design can improve the small things of everyday life," says Jordi.
And he adds: "As a designer and also as a teacher, I am moved to think that this award can inspire new creators to understand that any project, no matter how small it may seem, can have a great impact if it is thought out with care and responsibility."
