The Graduation Ceremony of the 2022-2023 graduating class of the Bachelor of Design brought together students, their families and friends, faculty, and members of the centre, on Thursday 6 July at EINA Bosc.
The ceremony began with a welcoming speech by Dr. Enric Mas, coordinator of the Bachelor of Design, surrounded by all the teachers present. Then, Dani Rubio Arauna, former student and ex-professor of EINA and recent Grand Laus of Graphic Design, encouraged the new graduates to face their future path where they will have to live with uncertainty, a factor of life closely linked to the understanding of design.
Anna Labat and Fuad Ajibola Kareem were the representatives of the graduates, and they gave speeches full of emotions, making a journey through their trajectories and experiences lived at EINA.
"All of us chose to study here at EINA for a reason. Me, because I had the feeling, from the first day, that it would be like my second home. And so, it has been, surpassing even more my expectations. I chose with my heart and I think it has been the best decision because I have filled it with what I like to do most: design", Anna Labat assured.
"Thanks to all the teachers we have had, from first to fourth grade. Each one, I suppose, will know who has influenced them more or less, but I think that the sum of all of them makes up all the knowledge acquired in these years, as professionals and above all as people", commented Fuad Ajibola Kareem.
The Graduation Ceremony culminated with a joint group photo and the closing speech given by Dr. Tatiana Rovira Faixa, Vice-Rector for Quality at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB).
