Estats de la qüestió: aproximacions des de la investigació en disseny is a group exhibition focusing on the research and creative processes developed by first-year students on the Bachelor in Design on the Theories of Design subject, coordinated by Julia Carrasco Parodi and Daniela Callejas.
The exhibition brings together works that explore contemporary social issues such as gender, ecology, repair, territory and power relations. The projects draw on methodologies specific to design theory and investigate the relationship between form, function, sign and action. Through objects, books, images, texts and visual pieces, the students offer a reflection on the role of design and the way we inhabit and understand the world.
The exhibition showcases fragments of the creative processes developed over the past few weeks, including visual essays, notes, hypotheses and conceptual references. The initiative aims to highlight not only the final result, but also the phases of research and experimentation that form part of the design process.
The exhibition will be open from 22 May to 8 June at Eina Bosc. Sessions open to the public will take place on Wednesday 27 May from 10:00 to 12:40 and on Friday 29 May from 10:00 to 11:50.
