Art as design, design as art. With this phrase by Dan Graham we present the works of the subject "Design and contemporary art" of the 3rd year of the Bachelor of Design in an exhibition that opens on Friday 9 February at EINA Bosc (Carrer del Bosc, 2).
The exhibition is an overview of how the students have analysed and used history to generate their own projects and interpretations. More than forty works in different formats (posters, booklets, fanzines, objects, articles, manifestos, photographs, etc.) show the heterogeneity of approaches to this historical period and the multidisciplinary nature of possible genealogies.
Because, contrary to what it might seem, the past (also of design) is unpredictable, it opens up a field rich in references and debates that continues to appeal to our contemporaneity.
The exhibition will remain open until 7 March.
