Enric Garrido, coordinator and lecturer of the Degree in Design, has obtained a Doctorate in Philosophy from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, with the thesis Comunicació Institucional i Producció de Sentit. La significació del text en l'estructura gràfica dels cartells de l'Ajuntament de Barcelona (Institutional Communication and the Production of Meaning. The meaning of text in the graphic structure of Barcelona City Council posters), directed by Dr. David Casacuberta and Dr. Elena Bartomeu, which he defended on 7 May at EINA.
