"El paisatge transmèdia” (Transmedia Landscape) - Carlota Castells

Next Sunday, September 27th at 12pm, in Alella, a guided visit will take place in conversation with author Carlota Castells, EINA alumni, designer, cinema director and artist, who will comment on her work "Transmedia Landscape”, a project that inquires on landscape through visual and sound media.

Transmedia Landscape is a project by Carlota Castells and Xavi Saucedo that proposes to rethink the idea of landscape through the diversity of different media: sound, film and graphic design, specifically.

Harvest for instance, offers us the possibility to rethink our own territory; a culmination of a constructed landscape, at a time of the year in which acycle, profoundly human, comes to closure.

In order to develope the project Carlota Castells and Xavi Saucedo, dialogue around the works of children of the schools Fabra and Serreta, who have participated in workshops around the last harvesting and where transmedia storytelling became the thread of the outcomed narratives.

Transmedia narrative is in a broad sense, the intended fragmentation of the content of a narration and the dissemination –also induced- in different platforms, supports and channels; implying the interaction with the receivers, who can choose their own tour and indepth approximation.

With this intervention, image and sound are at the service of the users of Can Manyé, giving the opportunity to approach and think in a different way that which is around us and that makes us who we are.

You may visit the exhibition from September 3rd to October 11th, at Can Manyé Espai d’Art i Creació, Alella.
