Eina collaborates with Bover, a leading manufacturer of decorative lighting for indoors and outdoors, from the Bachelor of Design.
The students, from the product and space itineraries, must develop a transversal project that takes the form of the creation and development of a lamp (floor lamp, table lamp, wall lamp or pendant lamp) in the decorative field, optimised to facilitate its industrial production. The execution of this work is carried out by the 4th year course in Lighting Design, led by Jordi Blasi.
To learn in detail about all the aspects linked to this project, the students visited Bover on 8 November. The visit began with Carlota Bover and Raquel Boix, who presented the brand and its collection of products. Afterwards, Jordi Mallorquí, Bover's technical director, gave a specialised session on technical aspects, which also featured Joana Bover, designer and founder of the company.
The day concluded with a visit to the factory with Nico Galvez, Bover's production manager, and a workshop programmed by Manel Pedrera, where Eina students participated in the assembly of a portable lamp from the Nans collection.
