The sixth edition of Self-assembly takes the format of an online seminar with artists collectives OPAVIVARÁ! and Rio Paraná. Organised by The Green Parrot and einaidea, the activity will bring together the artist's practices, reflecting on the ways of coming together and producing, and forms of self-assembly, choral desire and resistance.
Rio Paraná is a team of trans artists from South America made up of Duen Sacchi and Mag De Santo, who have been working together since 2016. Their poetic elaborations cross utopian imagination, memory, social fiction, sexual dissent and anti-colonialism. OPAVIVARÁ! is an artistic collective from Rio de Janeiro that develops actions in the public space of the city, galleries and cultural institutions, proposing investments in the ways of occupying the urban space through the creation of relational devices that provide collective experiences.
