Viver Marina

The aim of the project is to create a company nursery, a work and creation space where young entrepreneurs can set up competitive and innovative businesses. The purpose of the nursery is to offer the initial push to entrepreneurs who would like to put their business ideas into practice through the creation of a business hub with around a dozen companies from the audiovisual and design sector, where rents are low which ensures that there is not so much of a financial barrier to establishing a work place.

The project is located in the Olympic Village in Barcelona’s Poble Nou district. The building chosen is the former Telefónica Headquarters, designed by architects Jaume Bach and Gabriel Mora and completed in 1992 for the Barcelona Olympics. The planned building will have an elliptical floor plan and be five storeys high. The ground floor will contain the reception with floors one, two and three including work spaces and a restaurant-dining room on the fourth.

Viver Marina offers comfortable spaces that are also dynamic and austere, enabling entrepreneurs to work in a creative, collective and participatory environment.
