The Transformer project consists of designing the corporate identity of an NGO and some of the applications required to carry it out. This NGO creates and improves infrastructures and energy supplies in towns and areas in the third world that do not have access to basic water, electricity and gas services.
The main design aim is to create a graphic that represents the values of the NGO to attract the attention of engineers (who make volunteer work possible) and the general public alike.
Since most of the NGO's income comes from the donations and grants it receives, the main idea of the design is that it has a minimum cost, so that the main part of its income goes into aid work. That's why the whole project has been created using two inks and that the two typographies used are free.
Finally, I should mention that I have tried to create a graphic language that is not what you would expect from an NGO, one that sets itself apart, is innovative and distinctive in the street.
