Tiberi is a project that is based on a very simple idea: that of creating a typeface designed to be reproduced on food, at the same time guaranteeing the utmost faithfulness possible between the original design of the characters and their reproduction in the form of food, be they biscuits, pasta, chocolate, etc. The design of the typeface, therefore, will be determined by the physical characteristics of the actual food (variability, natural shapes) and by the limitations or advantages of the reproduction methods (extrusion, moulds). The result is an Egyptian typeface that is bold and rounded, with gentle but not overly sweet shapes, readable and pleasing not only to the eye but also to the senses of smell, taste and touch.
