This project arises out of the relationship between the photographic image and medicine, so as to reflect on how a field we understand to be tied to subjective interpretation ends up being the basis for another field tied to objectivity. With this odd circumstance at hand, and understanding photography as a document susceptible to be interpreted in different ways in function of its context, we present this series of photographs. The images attempt to pervert the notion of truth in the current scientific image, providing new empirical evidence on the existence of certain characters from children’s literature, the sex of the angels, the materialization of forgiveness and the meaning of Alzheimer.
